In an effort to help ease the burden lenders who have tons of bank owned foreclosures, Federal Housing Administration (FHA) plans to remove the ninety day waiting period for resale homes and condos that were financed by FHA-guaranteed loans. This gives banks an opporunity to fix up and repair their Long Beach homes that they foreclose on and re-sell them in a move-in condition. The previous waiting period meant that the home had to be in move in condition but their is such a back log of inventory they wanted to help out.Â

Long Beach real estate is comprised of over 35 different neighborhoods. Today, I wanted to focus on the neighborhood of Belmont Park to give you an idea of where it is located and how much it costs to live there.
One of the best things about Belmont Park is that it borders Alamitos Bay on the north and east and you can walk, drive and ride your bike to the beach on the south.   Belmont Shores and Belmont Park are divided by 2nd Street, great little shops and dinning area, in Long Beach, California. North of 2nd Street, you will find this picture perfect seaside neighborhood with single family homes and a few multi-family dwellings. I’ve always like driving and walking through this family friendly area of Long Beach. Â
